Paramount Pictures has released a final trailer for the upcoming Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. The trailer arrives as the film is set to debut in North American cinemas this Friday, July 23.
The trailer, which you can watch in the player below, teases more of Snake Eyes (Henry Golding) origin story. There’s plenty of fresh action from the film alongside a couple of very positive reactions from members of the press who have already seen the latest entry to the franchise.
Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honour and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.
Directed by Robert Schwentke, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins stars Henry Golding, Andre Koji, Iko Uwais, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe and Tahehiro Hira. The film is due in UK cinemas on August 18, 2021.
