Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes, Piranha 3D) returns to monster movie mayhem this weekend with his release of ‘Crawl’.
In the new movie, Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner) battles a hurricane, a tsunami, and some alligators that have taken up residency in her crawl space. Talk about a one-two-three punch!
The movie is currently riding high with all fresh reviews on Rottentomatoes, but I’m sure that will change a little over the weekend. Still, the initial reviews are mostly positive suggesting an overall fresh score, similar to Aja’s own Pirahna 3D.

Crawl is now in theatres nationwide, with a UK release date set for August 23rd.
