In a lengthy new announcement Disney and Marvel Studios have confirmed a new release date for Black Widow whilst shifting back the release date for a number of other releases in their upcoming Phase 4 slate.
The Scarlett Johansson led blockbuster will now release on November 6, 2020. If that date sounds familiar that’s because it was previously held by another upcoming Marvel release, Eternals.
That means Eternals moves back to February 12, 2021, the release date which previously belonged to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. That film now moves to May 7, 2021, all this leaves poor Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shifting to November 5, 2021.
Thor: Love and Thunder has also moved release dates and will now hits cinemas on February 18, 2022. Black Panther 2 is still set to hit screens on May 8, 2022 with Captain Marvel 2 now also dated for July 8, 2022.
Black Widow will see the return of Scarlett Johansson as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina.
