Quentin Tarantino may not be the obvious choice to helm a Star Trek movie. But some months ago it was quietly announced that he had prepared a pitch and was working on developing a script for a new Trek movie.
The director has been working on his upcoming Once Upon A Time In Hollywood movie but recently sat down with Slash Film to discuss the project.
It’s a very big possibility. I haven’t been dealing with those guys for a while cause I’ve been making my movie. But we’ve talked about a story and a script. The script has been written and when I emerge my head like Punxsutawney Phil, post-Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, we’ll pick up talking about it again.
With a script in place there’s a strong chance the movie may progress in the coming months if the studio is interested.
