Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have debuted the first extended clip from the upcoming Clayface. The film, directed by James Watkins, is set to roll out in cinemas across the globe from October 23, 2026.
The clip returns to a moment which has been teased right across the film’s marketing, with Matt Hagen (Tom Rhys Harries) aboard a flight which is experiencing some rather bumpy turbulence. Without the ability to control his burgeoning abilities, Matt loses control of his eyelids as they start to seal shut leaving him to take rather drastic measures…

In other news, WaterTower Music has debuted the first track from the Clayface: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, composed by Volker Bertelmann. Bertelmann might not be a household name but he won both an Academy Award and a BAFTA for his score to Edward Berger’s All Quite on the Western Front. The haunting theme from Clayface is available on streaming platforms now and you can preview the piece in the player below:
Directed by James Watkins and written by Hossein Amini and Mike Flanagan, Clayface stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen. Also starring in the film are Naomi Ackie, Max Minghella, Ruby Sear and Eddie Marsan.
Producing Clayface are James Gunn and Peter Safran for DC Studios as well as The Batman filmmaker Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris. Chantal Nong is executive producer.
