Netflix is offering fans the chance to step into Academy Award-winning direction Guillermo del Toro’s latest film, Frankenstein, with a new exhibit. Frankenstein: Crafting a Tale Eternal will launch at The Old Selfridges Hotel in London on October 17, 2025 and runs through November 9, 2025.

Opening ahead of the release of del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s timeless masterpiece Frankenstein, the new exhibition is presented by Netflix in partnership with LFF for Free, the BFI London Film Festival’s programme of free events, and will be free to the public this Autumn.

Free tickets can be reserved beginning at 8 am BST on Friday, September 12 from the Selfridges Hotel website.

The immersive exhibition will celebrate del Toro’s visionary storytelling and the exceptional craftsmanship of his team. Diving deep into his elaborate filmmaking process, it will showcase an impressive collection of stunning props, artwork, costumes, Tiffany & Co. jewellery featured in the film and rare books curated by the firm Peter Harrington to honour Mary Shelley’s legacy.

Guillermo del Toro says: “This film concludes a journey for me that started at age seven, when I saw James Whale’s Frankenstein films for the first time. Gothic horror became my church, and Boris Karloff my Messiah. It is an honor to be able to invite people to take a closer look at how my incredible crafts team and I have brought Mary Shelley’s world to life on screen.”

The exhibition will run from 17th October to 9th November at The Old Selfridges Hotel, London and will be open 10am until 6pm Thursday-Sunday each week.

In addition to the exhibition, tickets will also be on sale for Frankenstein at The Cinema at Selfridges from 24th October.

Frankenstein will have its Headline Gala screening at the 69th BFI London Film Festival on 13th October.

Frankenstein will be in select UK & Ireland cinemas from 17th October and available on Netflix globally from 7th November.
