Variety is reporting that former WWE superstar turned actor John Cena (Bumblebee) is in talks to join James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. It’s reported by entertainment reporter Justin Kroll that Cena is under consideration to play Peacemaker. Sad news for fans of FOX’s The Gifted this morning as it has been confirmed the series has been cancelled after two seasons. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the series will not be returning for a third season. The Gifted hailed from 20th Century Fox TV which now finds itself under the ownership of Disney. With the X-Men characters returning home to Marvel many had anticipated that the show would not survive even before the ratings began to fall. Yesterday was a big day for news on DC Universe upcoming Swamp Thing series. Firstly it appeared the show was in jeopardy when actress Virginia Madsen tweeted that production has been abruptly shut down. In a now deleted Instagram post the actress said “I’m beyond sad. What a terrible decision. We have been cut to the core by those who have never set foot into the Swamp. After teases from star Sophie Turner yesterday, 20th Century Fox has dropped a brand new and final trailer for Dark Phoenix. This latest look at what could potentially be the last of the Fox X-Men movies teases a whole lot more action from the movie. Yesterday Marvel Studios began unveiling new poster artwork for Avengers: Endgame designed by Poster Posse. This first part puts the focus on a trio of original Avengers characters: Thor, Captain American and Iron Man.
