Another weekend has drawn to a close at the box office. This weekend Godzilla: King of the Monsters bowed in almost all markets and was able to gross $179m despite a flood of mixed reviews. The movie, which currently holds a score of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes, scored a B+ CinemaScore from opening day audiences. That score hints that word of mouth may hinder the movie in the long run. According to BoxOfficeMojo the Warner Bros. release grossed approximately $49m in North America. That figure is below the studio forecast $50-55m going in to the weekend. The movie grossed $19.3m…

It’s no secret from watching footage from Dark Phoenix that the movie doesn’t stay too close to the source material. Certain elements, like for example the Shi’ar Empire, are missing. Earlier in the week we brought you the news that the Black Widow solo movie had begun production in Norway. Now the first photos from the set have surfaced online.
