Many fans expected that Batwoman would hit screens at mid-season following the conclusion of Arrow. But network The CW has since confirmed that only Legends of Tomorrow will hang back until 2020. In the meantime Batwoman will premiere alongside Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash sometime in September/October. One lingering question has been just how many episodes the first season of the show would be producing. Sony Pictures long gestating adaption of hit PS4 game Uncharted has finally found itself a release date. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that studio has settle on a date of December 18, 2020. The movie is set to star Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Tom Holland as the young Nathan Drake with 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg attached to direct. Variety is reporting that New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Black Adam has finally found itself a director. According to the report Non-Stop, Run All Night, and The Commuter director Jaume Collet-Serra is all set to take on the movie. The report states that following the huge success of Shazam! the Black Adam movie is now a priority for the studio. Dark Phoenix kicked off its North American run with previews on Thursday night. The news is now rolling in that the 20th Century Fox release made around $5m. That figure puts it behind the $8.2m which previous movie, X-Men: Apocalypse, made in previews back in 2016. According to BoxOfficeMojo that puts the movie squarely in line with War of the Planet of the Apes which went on to gross $56m in its opening weekend. It looks as though another member of the original Ghostbusters cast is returning for Jason Reitman’s 2020 sequel. In an interview with Parade (via CBR.com) Sigourney Weaver has confirmed that she will return to the role of Dana Barrett. This latest confirmation follows the news that Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray are also set to return. “It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again,” Weaver said. X-Men: The Animated Series is easily one of the most beloved kids cartoons of the 90s. Alongside Batman: The Animated Series and Spider-Man it exists as one of our generations childhood highlights. Last night Netflix debuted the final trailer for Jessica Jones third and final season. The two-minute clip finally lifts the lid on the mysterious villain who will be haunting Jessica this season. Classic Marvel character Gregory Salinger will be the one stalking the detective through her final batch of episodes.
