Terminator: Dark Fate (Paramount Pictures)

Terminator: Dark Fate finally made its debut in North America over the weekend, opening with a soft launch of $29m.

Though the film was still able to debut at #1 on box office chart the numbers don’t stack up too well against a rumoured production budget in the region of $185m.

The Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox release fared a little better outside the domestic market where it has now grossed an estimated $96.4m. for a worldwide haul of $123.6m.

Based on a story by James Cameron & Charles Eglee & Josh Friedman and David Goyer & Justin Rhodes and a screenplay by David Goyer & Justin Rhodes and Billy Ray Terminator: Dark Fate is directed by Tim Miller.

The movie stars Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, Diego Boneta and is due to hit cinemas on November 1, 2019.
