Now here’s a thoroughly interesting and exciting casting rumour: Deadline is reporting that former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi has joined the cast of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. As with all of the recent casting announcements, details of Capaldi’s role are being kept tightly under wraps. Capaldi joins the recently announced Taika Waititi and the returning Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis. Before heading to the European premiere of the film at London’s BFI IMAX cinema the cast and director of IT: Chapter Two took on the immersive event happening just down the road. Production has been underway for some time on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3. The third batch of episode is due for release on Netflix later this year, most likely around Halloween season. Teasing a new villainous character, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has also tasted that a Spellman death is coming. Last night we were very lucky to attend the UK premiere of IT: Chapter 2. The film hits cinemas across the globe from Friday and to celebrate Warner Bros. and partners New Line Cinemas has releases this new set of character posters.
