It was only a couple of days ago that we confirmed Spider-Man villain Shriek had been added to the script for Sony Pictures’ upcoming Venom 2. Now we have some casting news for the character. According to Variety, Skyfall and No Time To Die star Naomie Harris has landed the role. After what feels like a lifetime of talk, and of course the release of Shazam!, we now have a much better idea when Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will suit up as Black Adam. The actor/producer confirmed in a tweet that the film is set to begin production in July 2020 meaning that we are most likely looking at a 2021 release. We expect to begin seeing casting news for the film by the end of the year. Ghostbusters 2020 leading lady, McKenna Grace, has taken to social media to say the film has now completed principal photography.
