Some time ago it was announced that Joss Whedon was working on a Batgirl film for Warner Bros. Around the same time we learnt that Whedon would also be taking over the reigns on Justice League to help complete that project. With that film making what many are calling a soft entry to the box office Whedon’s future at DC Films had been called in to question. Rumours circling the web yesterday and claiming to have insider info stated that Warner Bros. removed Whedon from the project around September time. No reason was given for his supposed removal. Now EW has reached out to…

We’re just a little over a year away from the release of Aquaman. The next film in the DC Films Universe follows on from the disappointing performance of Justice League over the weekend. Whilst many fan and critic reviews have singled out Jason Momoa as a highlight in the team film many were concerned by the portrayal of Atlantis. In Justice League we see that Era (Amber Heard) has to form an underwater air bubble for the two to be able to communicate. Many fans pointed out this is not a comic accurate representation of the underwater realm and wondered how this would impact…
Jason Momoa has conducted his first interview since Justice League made a soft entry to the box office over the weekend. Speaking with EW the actor directly addressed the criticism of the film and how it affects him as an actor. “I try to stay the f— away from what people say. Some of my friends said, ‘Justice League isn’t doing well’ and it kind of bummed me out. But I didn’t want to look it up. I don’t want to look up the bad and the negativity. I don’t think that’s useful; it doesn’t help. I’ve seen [Justice League] twice, I loved it the second time…
