Terminator: Dark Fate hit cinemas in November and arrived to favourable reviews from critics but failed to set the box office alight. The film grossed an estimated $260.5m worldwide based on a $185m production budget. The final box office numbers for last weekend are in and it seems that Jumanji: The Next Level (reviewed here) was able to far surpass expectations. Going in to the weekend the film had been expected to gross around $40-50m but the final figures show that the Sony Pictures release, in fact, grossed $60.1m.
