Warner Bros., Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix received some very good news this morning as Joker picked up a huge eleven nominations for this year’s BAFTA Awards. The film picked up nominations for: Best Film; Best Director for Todd Phillips, Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix, Best Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir, Best Hair & Makeup, Sound Design, Production Design, Cinematography, Adapted Screenplay, Casting and Editing. Now here’s some exciting news, Variety is reporting that film score legend, Hans Zimmer, is taking over scoring the upcoming No Time To Die. The 25th film in the Bond franchise was due to be scored by Dan Romer whose name had previously been announced officially the studio. Rumours suggest that Eon Productions dismissed Romer last month citing “creative differences.” Zimmer has a busy slate this year as he is already scoring Wonder Woman 1984, Top Gun: Maverick and Dune. EW has revealed that God will be joining the final season of Netflix’s Lucifer. After years of hearing about the character, Daddy will finally make his debut when the last batch of episodes comes to the streaming service later in 2020.
