Now here’s some exciting news, Variety is reporting that film score legend, Hans Zimmer, is taking over scoring the upcoming No Time To Die.
The 25th film in the Bond franchise was due to be scored by Dan Romer whose name had previously been announced officially the studio. Rumours suggest that Eon Productions dismissed Romer last month citing “creative differences.”
Zimmer has a busy slate this year as he is already scoring Wonder Woman 1984, Top Gun: Maverick and Dune. With No Time To Die due in cinemas in April it seems that Zimmer may need to bring a co-composter on board to help him complete recording in time.
Frequent Zimmer collaborator Benjamin Wallfisch (who worked with him on “Blade Runner 2049” and “Hidden Figures”) and Lorne Balfe are two names in the frame to help complete the score.
No comment has been made by Zimmer or the studio at this time.
