Back in last year’s Elseworlds crossover we met The Monitor, played by LaMonica Garrett. With Crisis On Infinite Earths looming many have been anticipating The CW unveiling their version of his opposite, The Anti-Monitor. Well late last night EW debuted this first look at the character who will be the main villain of the piece. We’ve heard plenty about Disney+’s flagship Star Wars series The Mandalorian which will be launching later this year. But what about the other previously announced series set in the same universe, Cassian Andor. The series is set to focus on the character first introduced in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story played by Diego Luna. Following the news that Neil Patrick Harris has reportedly joined The Matrix 4, we now have even more casting news. Deadline is reporting that Jada Pinkett Smith (Gotham) is in talks to return to the franchise in the role of Niobe. Though the deal is not yet finalised it is expected that the former love interest of Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus will make an appearance in the film.
