Some sad news this morning if you were looking forward to Jane Goldsman’s prequel series to Game of Thrones. It seems HBO has passed on the series, dubbed The Long Night, which was set to star double Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts. According to Deadline the pilot, filmed over the summer in Northern Ireland, was not well received by the network. It is rumoured that HBO execs ordered Goldsman and her team to go back and make substantial changes to the pilots edit and were still not happy with the outcome. Next year Warner Bros. is doubling down on its streaming platforms as the company launches HBO Max. The new platform is set to cover all corners of the Warner Bros. world from animation, to TV, film and beyond and will, of course, include content from DC Comics. Global Publisher to Release the Anticipated Debut Game from Kojima Productions for PC Summer 2020 CALABASAS, Calif – Oct. 28, 2019 – 505 Games will publish the PC version of Hideo Kojima’s highly-anticipated title Death Stranding, releasing in Summer 2020. Victory was short lived for Warner Bros. Joker today, after being declared the winner at least weekends domestic box office the final numbers have confirmed the film remained in second place behind Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The numbers of Sunday put the Todd Philips film just $400k ahead of the Angelina Jolie sequel. But now the final receipts have been counted the numbers have swung the other way.
