Spider-Man: Homecoming hit cinemas in the UK today but fans in North America have a couple more days to wait. Whilst excitement for Sony/Marvel release builds Deadline and looking ahead to the films potential weekend gross. Coming off the positive buzz from Tom Hollands debut in Captain America: Civil War expectations are high. The film has officially be rated fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and is holding a score of 92%. Doing their usual magical calculations looking at other Spidey films and the rest of the MCU they’ve landed on a figure of $100-$120m for it’s opening weekend in North America.…

It’s been another successful weekend at the box office for Wonder Woman. After only one months in cinemas the film has now officially grossed over $700m worldwide! Over the course of its fifth weekend in North America the film took in an estimated $15.57m. Another drop of under 40% from the previous weekend and holding on to the #4 spot in the charts.  Earlier in the week the film topped the North America gross of both Suicide Squad ($325.1m) and Batman v Superman ($330.3m) to become the top DCEU movie with $346.1m. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment has just made fans of the DC Animated Universe very happy. To celebrate 10 years of success with the direct-to-video animated movies a special 10th anniversary collection has been announced. Bringing together all 30 films from Superman: Doomsday to this years Batman and Harley Quinn the box set is packed to the rafters with DC Comics highlights.
