The rumour mill has been in overdrive for the last 24 hours following the unceremonious sacking of the Han Solo directors. Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s time in the directing chair came to an abrupt end this week following rumours of tensions on set. Wonder Woman is continuing its domination of box offices worldwide after crossing the $550m mark. After the final receipts had been counted the film fell only 29.5% in its third weekend at the North American box office. The Patty Jenkins directed film was able to take in another $41.3m after expectations set the bar at $30-35m. Great news for Star Trek fans today as CBS has confirmed the premiere date for its newest adventure. Another weekend at the box office has drawn to a close. As the dust settles and the receipts are counted it is Wonder Woman who has once again come out on top. Entering its second weekend the press placed Wonder Woman somewhere in the $50-$60m window as the North American box office. Taking an estimated $15.8m on Friday, $24.3m on Saturday and $17m on Sunday the film crossed the $200m mark.
