Marvel’s Avengers have had another successful weekend at the box office. Avengers: Infinity War earned over $112.5m in North America in its second weekend. Record followers will be interested to know that is only the SECOND highest second weekend of all time. Star Wars: The Force Awakens holds the record for the highest second weekend with $149.2m. Its domestic total currently stands at $450.8m. Internationally the Avengers took in a further $162.6m over the weekend for an international total of $713.3m. Earlier this season Arrow suffered the loss of a founding cast member. Actress Willa Holland left her role as Thea Queen after six seasons on the DCTV flagship.
