DC Comics announce ‘Metropolis’ series from ‘Gotham’ producers

DC Comics are working behind the scenes prepping their digital streaming service for launch. Due to premiere later this year we already know the service will carry the third season of Young Justice. The services’ first live action series Titans is also currently producing its first, thirteen episode, season.
Today DC Comics has announced that Gotham producers John Stephens and Danny Cannon are working on a Superman prequel series. Currently dubbed Metropolis the series will be an early look at the home city of the Man of Steel.
The series, announced via the DC Comics website, is said to focus around Lois Lane and Lex Luthor.
“Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city’s dark and bizarre secrets.”
No date has been announced for the service to launch but fans can go to www.DCFanUpdates.com for updates.
