Whilst the DCEU rides high on the positive buzz of Wonder Woman its future has been dealt a blow this week. Director Doug Liman has departed from Justice League Dark. Variety reports that Liman exited the project over scheduling issues with his new Lionsgate production Chaos Walking which is set to star Daisy Ridley (Star Wars) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming). We’ve got a little treat for Spidey fans out there with the release of not one but TWO new trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Following the theme set with previous trailers there are both domestic and international versions of this third trailer. Both versions of the trailer focus more on the films main villain: Vulture. Sad news for film fans around the world today, particularly those fans of the DC Comics Extended Universe (DCEU). Director Zack Snyder has announced that he is stepping down from his remaining directorial duties on Justice League after the tragic loss of his daughter. Autumn Snyder passed away in March of 2017. Our first look at the new Star Trek series is finally here! Overnight CBS All Access with partners Netflix unveiled the first trailer for Star Trek: Discovery as well as releasing a teaser poster. TV network ABC has announced its programming schedule for the 2017/18 season setting the launch date for Inhumans. The show will take a Friday night timeslot running from 9pm. Notably missing from the launch lineup was the recently renewed Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which we now understand will be returning at mid season after Inhumans completes its run.
