December is looking to be a busy month in cinemas. Robert Rodriguez returns with his latest movie Alita: Battle Angel and Transformers spinoff Bumblebee are both landing on December 21. That date was originally also due to see the debut of James Wan’s Aquaman.
That is no longer the case as DigitalSpy has broken the news that the film is moving release dates. Though Warner Bros. is yet to confirm the news it would appear the King of Atlantis is moving to 14 December. At least in the UK.
No news on global release dates but for now it would appear us here in the UK are getting an early Christmas present from DC Films!
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa in the title role of Arthur Curry/Aquaman. The film also stars Amber Heard as Mera; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe as Vulko; Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren as Nereus; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta; with Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.
The film is being produced by Peter Safran, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
