The first full trailer for Ready Player One has finally landed. Revealed during a Facebook live Q&A with author Ernie Cline yesterday w now have a much better idea about how the story will translate to film. Discussing the process of adapting the book Cline discussed that due to the sheer volume of pop culture references in the book some aspects of the film needed to be changed. News to anger Justice Leaguefans this morning. Cinematographer Fabian Wagner has confirmed in an interview with Inverse.com (via Comic Book Movie) that scenes were shot with Henry Cavill in the black Superman suit seen in the comics: “There were [quite a few scenes shot]. It’s a cool looking costume. Sadly we didn’t see that either in the final cut. Zack takes his time with telling the stories and I’ve always liked that about his movies. Box office reports suggest the film took $1.7M on Tuesday to finally reach a total of $200.2M.
