STAR TREK 4 production set for 2019

A new report from That Hashtag Show has brought us some fresh news on Star Trek 4.
Not to be confused with the Quentin Tarantino Trek movie this would be a direct sequel to 2016’s Star Trek Beyond.
The report claims the film has hired director S.J. Clarkson (The Defenders, Jessica Jones) to take on the latest instalment. If confirmed Clarkson would take over from Justin Lin.
It is also said the script features two prominent female villains. Recent rumours point to the studio chasing The Walk Dead and Black Panther star Danai Gurira to take on one of those roles.
Could an announcement be coming this weekend at SDCC?
