Excellent news for fans of new SyFy series Krypton. Ahead of tonights season finale the network has announced that the series has been picked up for a second season! That second season will air sometime during 2019. During its debut season Krypton averaged 1.8 million total viewers in live-plus three ratings, giving Syfy its most-watched debut for an original series since 2014, and its most-watched season for any scripted series since Defiance in 2015. Ahead of its Cartoon Network premier DC Comics has unveiled an updated look for its Super Hero Girls. The Dc Super Hero Girls franchise began as a way to help younger female comics feel more included. Taking some of DC Comics leading ladies and putting them in to a school environment. Some casting news this morning for Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. Previously we’ve heard that the Wallcrawler may be going global for his sequel. Now we have an idea who he may be facing off against. Deadline has confirmed that Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks with Marvel Studios and Sony to take on the role of Mysterio. Some good news for Lucifer fans today. Whilst the #SaveLuficer movement continues on social media FOX has made some decisions regards two bonus episodes of the series. In the past FOX has kept episodes back for use in subsequent seasons. These standalone episodes don’t push forwards the shows main plot. Two such episodes still exist following the series huge cliffhanger ending. The network has confirmed both episodes will air back-to-back next Monday night, May 30th, on FOX at 8/7c.
