Netflix has so far been cagey about when we will see the next season of Daredevil land on our screens. Whilst production on the Marvel series continues at Netflix we only have confirmation of Iron Fist season 2 landing in September.
But in the video statement discussing the companies second quarter performance CEO Ted Sarandos dropped the Man Without Fear’s name in a list of shows premiering in the “second half” of 2018.
“In the short term, we’ve got new seasons coming up, in the second half of this year, of Orange is the New Black, Ozark, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Narcos, the finale of House of Cards, the follow-up series to Making a Murderer,”
Could this mean we’ll see the show return before the end of the year?
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) is joined by a stellar cast including Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick).
Marvel’s Daredevil is Executive Produced by series Co-Showrunners Marco Ramirez (“Sons Of Anarchy”, “Fear The Walking Dead”) and Douglas Petrie (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer”, “American Horror Story”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Jessica Jones”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
