After losing original director Danny Boyle several weeks ago Bond 25 is finally getting back on track. Yesterday it was announced that Cary Joji Fukunaga will be taking over the directors chair. The film has also found itself a new release date. Originally set to hit cinemas in October 2019 it will now arrive on Valentines day (Feb 14) 2020. Fukunaga is most famous for directing Maniac and Beasts of no Nation. It is not yet known whether the films script will be entirely re-written following the departure of Boyle and his team. DC Universe has found it’s Stargirl! THR is reporting that Nickelodeon’s Bella and the Bulldogs star Brec Bassinger has signed on to the play the lead. A new rumour overnight from Deadline has Marvel doubling down on the popularity of its female super heroes. The trade reports that Wonder Woman scribe Allan Heinberg is currently working on a new, all-female team-up series which would be broadcast on ABC alongside Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The network has reportedly committed to producing the project to help diversify Marvel’s catalogue of shows. It’s only three months until Aquaman finally hits the big screen. With the release getting nearer Warner Bros. is beginning to step up its marketing campaign for the movie. We’ve heard rumours for some time that Batman would be appearing in Titans. Set photos also showed off the bat signal sitting atop the GCPD. Adding fuel to the fire a shadowy photo of a mysterious costume has been circling the web for some time. The photo teased a character who would be appearing on the show in the future. GYCO, along with several other instagram accounts, were contacted by a user who claimed to be involved in the making of that costume. Production on Spider-Man: Far From Home has moved on from London and landed in Prague in the Czech Republic. That hasn’t stopped the paparazzi from snapping a few photos of the cast in action on the set though. Netflix has released a new teaser poster for Daredevil season 3. The new image proclaims “Let there be darkness.” in the wake of Matt Murdock’s perceived death at the end of The Defenders.
