The Wrap has confirmed that Crazy Rich Asians actor Remy Hii in an undisclosed role. Hii is a relative unknown in Hollywood but has also had roles in Netflix Marco Polo and Australian soap opera Neighbours. Hii joins Jake Gyllenhaal, JB Smooth, and Numan Acar as newcomers to the Spidey cast. Whilst many roles continue to be kept under wraps many are speculating that Gyllenhaal will be playing Mysterio, a Spidey villain long overdue for a live action makeover. Marvel Comics recently announced that it is bringing the Uncanny X-Men title back to stores. Now the publisher has revealed the cover for the series first issue. The cover, illustrated by Leinil Frances Yu and Edgar Delgado, shows off a huge roster of the X-Men including Nightcrawler, Bishop, Storm, Beast, Jean Grey, X-23, Iceman, Psylocke, Jubilee and Cannonball. The series will begin with a 10-part miniseries called “Disassembled”. The series will begin as a weekly publication during the miniseries before becoming a normal monthly title. Late last night we got the news that Star Trek: Discovery has found its Spock. The series has been teasing the inclusion of the character for some time following the season 1 cliffhanger ending. Trailers and snippets of footage have teased that the character may appear. Earlier this month we heard a rumour that Daredevil season 3 will premiere sometime in 2018. Overnight that rumour appears to have been confirmed thanks to several tweets from members of the press. Ahead of the release of a new series Netflix sends screener copies of multiple episodes to allow the press to prepare reviews. Of those to receive their copies it has been confirmed the embargo on those reviews will lift sometime in October. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Elizabeth Henstridge appears to have confirmed the series won’t return until July 2019. Production is currently underway on a thirteen episode, sixth season for the series. Whilst fans wait to find out if Agent Coulson survived season 5 there’s plenty of time for speculation.
