Last night saw the Arrow portion of the Elseworlds crossover finally hit the airwaves. The second part of the three-night event finally introduced fans to Ruby Rose as Batwoman by taking the action to Gotham City itself. We’ve still got a long wait until the third season of Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things finally makes its premiere. After a hard weekends work at the Chinese box office Aquaman has proven to be a huge success. Official estimates have the DC Films/Warner Bros. release earning an immense $93.6M over the three day weekend. That number is the highest opening for a modern DC movie in China. That surpasses the openings of Justice League ($50.5M), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($55.7M), and Wonder Woman ($37.6M). In terms of the latter Aquaman has surpassed the lifetime gross of Wonder Woman ($93M) in just three days. The final episode of Doctor Who season 11 airs tomorrow. With a special episode set for New Year’s Day that currently marks the end of Jodie Whittaker’s time as The Doctor.
