With Avengers: Endgame hitting cinemas next week fans are on tenterhooks to know who will survive the second round battle with Thanos. With many of the original Avengers contracts ending with the latest team movie there’s a very uncertain future for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In a new interview with The LA Times actress Tessa Thompson was asked about the potential for a fourth movie in the Thor franchise. Thompson first appeared in Thor: Ragnarok as Valkyrie and many fans hope the character shows up in Endgame to aid in the battle with Thanos.
When asked about the prospect of a fourth movie Thompson was coy but did reveal some details. “I heard that a pitch has happened for [another “Thor” film],” she reveals. “I don’t know how real that intel is, but I hear that the pitch has happened. I think the idea is Taika [Waititi, who directed ‘Ragnarok’] would come back.”
Ragnarok was a huge departure for the franchise but proved a massive hit with critics and fans. Would you like to see Waititi return for a second round in the directors chair?
