For fans of Marvel’s Netflix shows the last few weeks has been rather tumultuous. First came news that Iron Fist had been cancelled following its second season. Subsequently the axe also fell on Luke Cage and even Daredevil. With only Jessica Jones and The Punisher remaining many have been looking to Disney to save the day. This is not a drill! MCM Comic Con has released early bird tickets for its first two shows of 2019. Over at the MCM Expo Store you can now pickup weekend early bird tickets for both the Birmingham and London shows. Between now and January 8, 2019 weekend entry tickets will be on limited release at a discounted price. We’ve been hearing for a while now that the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home is “coming soon”. But now it seems delays may have pushed the release back once again. Back in July Geoff Johns announced that he was bringing Stargirl to DC Universe. At the time he confirmed that we would be seeing members of the Justice Society of America appearing on the show. Now the latest batch of casting announcements confirm some major players are coming. In the latest announcement Henry Thomas (Haunting of Hill House) has been confirmed to join the cast as Doctor Mid-Nite. Director Todd Phillips has confirmed that his Joker movie has completed filming. Taking to Instagram the director took time to thank his NYC based crew whilst commenting that his work is not yet finished. Using the hashtag “editingroom” it seems that work on the DC Films release will now go quite for the festive period.
