Earlier this year Buffy the Vampire Slayer said goodbye to Dark Horse and moved to BOOM! Studios. Original creator of the franchise, Joss Whedon, will serve as a consultant on the series which will be written by Jordie Bellaire. Artist Dan Mora will be handling the visuals on the new reboot which BOOM! has been described a reflecting the world “outside your window.” BOOM! has now given us a first look at Mora’s character designs for the show. Marvel has released the epic second trailer for Captain Marvel. This second look at the movie fleshes out a lot of the scenes glimpsed in the first trailer whilst also giving us a much better understanding of the character. We get to see more flashbacks to Carol Danvers’ childhood, as well as seeing more of her transformation in to a Kree warrior. This morning Jason Momoa appeared on Good Morning America as part of the promotional tour for Aquaman. Last night in North America Supergirl aired its final episode prior to crossover event Elseworlds. Whilst the episode itself did not touch on the upcoming universe crossing event it did contain a short stinger. The scene opens on the barren landscape of Earth-90. As we pan across the devastation we see the bodies of Stargirl, Firestorm and other heroes. There’s even what seems to be Green Arrow of the Smallville universe amongst the dead.
