An interesting piece of casting news for Star Wars: Episode IX has just hit the web. Former Doctor Who star Matt Smith has joined the film in an undisclosed role! Overnight it’s been rumoured in the trades that a key character in Todd Phillips Joker has been cast. Deadline and several other major websites are all carrying the story that Alec Baldwin has been cast as Thomas Wayne.
