Warner Bros. and DC Films Aquaman has officially become the highest grossing DC Comics adaption of all time this weekend. Thanks to another $7M+ weekend in North America the movie has now grossed a huge $1.09bn worldwide. That surpasses Chris Noaln’s The Dark Knight Rises which grossed $1.08bn in 2012. The CW is gearing up to start production on its Batwoman pilot. Rumours point to production kicking off during Spring so have the show ready to go by the time the 2019/20 TV season pickups are made. The pilot is being helmed by DCTV veteran David Nutter. Previously we’ve seen several character breakdowns for the show but now we have our first casting news. Following the announcement that Matt Smith was joining the cast, Sony Pictures has officially date Morbius: The Living Vampire. It’s been announce the movie will land in cinemas on July 31, 2020. That’s just a couple of weeks after Ghostbusters 3 also arrives from Sony. The official announcement of the release refers to the movie simply as Morbius. Sony Pictures has announced that the latest instalment in the franchise, written and directed by Jason Reitman, will release on July 10, 2020.
