Last night in North America Supergirl aired its final episode prior to crossover event Elseworlds. Whilst the episode itself did not touch on the upcoming universe crossing event it did contain a short stinger.
The scene opens on the barren landscape of Earth-90. As we pan across the devastation we see the bodies of Stargirl, Firestorm and other heroes. There’s even what seems to be Green Arrow of the Smallville universe amongst the dead. Eventually we see John Wesley-Shipp’s 90’s Flash crawling through the dust.
Flash reaches out the mysterious book which we know will be central to the storyline. But before he can reach it Flash is thwarted by The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett).

Elseworlds will air for three nights and will begin with The Flash on Sunday, December 9 at 8/7c, continue with Arrow on Monday, December 10 at 8/7c and end with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11 at 8/7c.
