It’s been almost two years since the reveal of a teaser trailer for The Avengers Project. That game, under development by Core Design and Square Enix is finally due to be unveiled at the E3 conference in just under 24hrs. Aquaman director Jams Wan was initially tipped to direct the pilot of Swamp Thing. Though he still retains an executive producer credit on the series he took a step back from directing to allow Len Wiseman to helm the series opener. It’s been a disappointing weekend at the box office of Dark Phoenix. The last of the 20th Century Fox era X-Men movies failed to top the box office, being bested by Universal Pictures Secret Life of Pets 2. In North America Phoenix had been estimated a $50-60m weekend. According to estimations from BoxOfficeMojo the Simon Kinberg directed picture was only able to score a franchise low $33m. Opening night audiences scored the movie with a B- CinemaScore indicating the word-of-mouth may further hinder its performance. Many fans expected that Batwoman would hit screens at mid-season following the conclusion of Arrow. But network The CW has since confirmed that only Legends of Tomorrow will hang back until 2020. In the meantime Batwoman will premiere alongside Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash sometime in September/October. Sony Pictures long gestating adaption of hit PS4 game Uncharted has finally found itself a release date. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that studio has settle on a date of December 18, 2020. The movie is set to star Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Tom Holland as the young Nathan Drake with 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg attached to direct. Variety is reporting that New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Black Adam has finally found itself a director. According to the report Non-Stop, Run All Night, and The Commuter director Jaume Collet-Serra is all set to take on the movie.
