Legendary Pictures has confirmed that the previously announced anime based on the Pacific Rimmovies will release on Netflix in 2020. During a discussion panel at Project Anime (via IGN), an industry event forming part of the annual Los Angeles’ Anime Expo, Legendary Entertainment’s executive vice president, Elie Dekel, confirmed that the series first season will premiere in 2020, with a second season to follow later. No confirmation on an episode count as yet. The series is a co-production between Legendary Pictures and anime studio Polygon Pictures, the studio behind Netflix’s own Godzilla anime film trilogy.

It was revealed today that Radio Silence’s horror/comedy Ready or Not starring Samara Weaving (The Babysitter) and Adam Brody (Jennifer’s Body) has been moved up two days from its original August 23rd release date to August 21st.
