Five and a half years after Asta and the Black Bulls left TV screens, the wait is nearly over. Studio Pierrot and Crunchyroll have dropped the latest trailer to the highly anticipated Black Clover Season 2, officially locking in an October 2026 global release window.
The announcement, which recently treated lucky attendees to a world-premiere screening of Episode 1 at Anime Expo 2026, confirms that Crunchyroll will be streaming the new season worldwide as it airs.
The newly released trailer gives fans a cinematic look at the dark, action-heavy continuation of the Spade Kingdom Arc. Following the cliff-hanger of the original 170-episode run. Episode 170 ends with Nacht preparing to train Asta and Liebe with his four devils, Noelle and the others getting ready to train to become stronger, the captains along with the Wizard King and Mereoleona preparing for the upcoming war, and Yuno training on his own to become stronger is then offered help by Langris.
Following the path of other anime and moving away from the intense, non-stop weekly schedule of the first 170 episodes, Season 2 is shifting toward a more polished, seasonal production style. The trailer highlights incredibly fluid action sequences and crisper designs.
Fans can rest easy knowing the core creative team that made the original run a modern shonen staple is back behind the scenes, alongside a few exciting updates.

Because the Black Clover manga by Yūki Tabata has recently ended, Studio Pierrot finally has the green light to adapt the rest of the story with correct pacing. Season 2 will pick up exactly where the anime left off, focusing heavily on everybody’s training for the upcoming war, which I cannot wait to see adapted into beautiful animation.
