ReedPop has today confirmed that Ben Whitehead, star of the classic stopmotion series Wallace & Gromit, will be a guest at MCM Birmingham Comic Con taking place 28-30 November at the NEC.
Ben Whitehead is a British voice actor who is best-known as the official voice of Wallace in the beloved Wallace & Gromit franchise. Ben began voicing Wallace following the retirement of the beloved Peter Sallis. Ben has been a part of Aardman Animations for many years and began his work with the studio as a writer and editor, before stepping into voice acting. As Wallace, Ben’s voice has featured in the most recent feature length film Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, as well as advertisements and even theme park attractions – keeping fans of the franchise entertained for years.
Before taking up the mantle of Wallace, Ben played many other Aardman characters, such as Bob the Baker in In A Matter of Loaf and Death, Mr Leaching in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Ben will be appearing across all three days of the show and will be available for photo ops and autographs.
