A spectacular new entry takes the crown this week as Avatar – Fire and Ash debuts straight at Number 1. The latest chapter in James Cameron’s epic sci-fi saga returns audiences to the world of Pandora with breathtaking visuals, expanded world-building and a darker new conflict that raises the stakes for the Na’vi and their allies.

Making a huge climb into Number 2, The Housemaid surges 18 places. The gripping psychological thriller continues to attract viewers with its tense story of secrets, manipulation and danger lurking beneath the surface of a seemingly perfect household.

Another major debut arrives at Number 3 with Wuthering Heights (2026). This bold new adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel reimagines the stormy romance between Heathcliff and Catherine, pairing sweeping Yorkshire landscapes with intense emotional drama for a new generation.

Last week’s chart-topper Sinners drops to Number 4 after its recent time at the summit. The Oscar-winning drama remains a powerful presence in the chart, following twin brothers returning to their Mississippi hometown only to confront an even greater evil waiting for them there.

Sliding three places to Number 5, One Battle After Another continues to perform strongly, with its large-scale spectacle and emotionally charged storytelling keeping audiences engaged.

A dramatic surge from Number 30 sees 28 Years Later – The Bone Temple leap to Number 6. The chilling continuation of the iconic infected saga keeps viewers hooked with its bleak atmosphere and relentless survival tension.

Now at Number 7, Wicked – For Good remains a firm favourite after previously securing four non-consecutive weeks at Number 1. The spectacular musical finale to Elphaba and Glinda’s story continues to resonate thanks to its powerful performances and unforgettable songs.

Another new entry lands at Number 8 with GOAT. The high-energy sports drama has made an immediate impact with its inspiring story of ambition, resilience and the pursuit of greatness at the very top level of competition.

Climbing strongly from Number 33, Hamnet reaches Number 9. The moving literary adaptation brings Maggie O’Farrell’s acclaimed novel to the screen in a poetic exploration of grief, family and the emotional life that helped inspire Shakespeare’s work.

Rounding out the Top 10, The Super Mario Bros. Movie holds steady at Number 10, continuing its enduring appeal with colourful animation, fast-paced adventure and nostalgic references to Nintendo’s beloved gaming world.
