Marvel Games and partners Skydance New Media have announced a short delay to the planned release of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. The game had been anticipated to release this year but has now been confirmed to release in “early 2026”.
Skydance has released a statement via its social media stating that “additional time” is being used to add more polish to the game ahead of release. Though no specific reason was given it isn’t unusual for games of this level to delay release in order to make sure they’re ready for public scrutiny.
In the chaos of war, worlds collide. Captain America and Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, must overcome their differences and form an uneasy alliance to confront their common enemy. Fighting alongside Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris, they must join forces to stop a sinister plot that threatens to turn the havoc of WWII into the ultimate rise of Hydra.
