Lionsgate has today begun to ramp up promotion on the first spin-off film set within the John Wick universe. Ballerina will give fans the opportunity to understand one of the twelve organisations that sit at the High Table when it hits UK cinemas on June 6, 2025.
The Ruska Roma, a powerful syndicate, train their assassins to be both the best dancers to ever grace the stage and the most skilled killers. While there is still a long wait until the film is released, we’d estimate a wait as long as the staircase from John Wick: Chapter 4, Lionsgate decided to drop the first trailer for the upcoming prequel, and it has gotten us incredibly excited.
Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman, stars Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves. The prequel is set to be unleashed onto the big screen on June 6, 2025.
