Netflix has given fans a first look at the long awaited return to two comic book icons. Directed by Alain Chabat and Fabrice Joubert, this series promises to reignite the humour and spirit of adventure that have captivated generations. We’re talking about none other than best friends Asterix and Obelix who return in new animated series Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight, arriving on the streamer on April 30, 2025.
In the series Rome is desperate to conquer the last independent village in Gaul and the home of Asterix and Obelix. The secret to the Gauls’ battle superiority is a magic potion, but when the potion master loses his memory, the villagers are left to their own devices against the might of Rome.
