After debuting the first poster artwork just days ago Sony Pictures has now released a short teaser for Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later. The film is currently slated for UK release in June 2025.
The short teaser reveals very little footage from the film. Sparse shots appear briefly on screen for mere frames. But morse code can be heard in the background with eagle-eared listeners decoding the message as “Tuesday”. This is likely confirmation that the film’s full teaser trailer is set for release next week.
Very little is known about about the new film which finds Boyle reuniting with Alex Garland, writer of the original film and this year’s incredible Civil War. The film will star Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) but will also reportedly mark the return of Cillian Murphy to the role of Jim from the first film.
