Netflix is gearing up for a blockbuster debut with November’s Back in Action. The film, which stars Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, will be the latter’s first film appearance in a decade. Back in Action will launch globally on November 15, 2024
The film follows Foxx and Diaz as two former CIA spies who give up espionage to start a family. But soon Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.

Speaking of her return to film Diaz says “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner, on-screen and off.” Whilst Foxx adds “A lot of people don’t know this, but after Cameron and I did Any Given Sunday and Annie together, we became friends in real life – and I’ve been begging her to come play with me again. We all know there’s just something about her…”
Seth Gordon directs Back in Action which was co-written with Brendan O’Brien. Also starring are Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts and Rylan Jackson.
