Today has been on hell of a day for streaming comic book adaptions. First Disney+ thrilled us with an X-Men ’97 trailer, then Prime Video went hard with a new Invincible trailer and now it’s the turn of Netflix. The mega-streamer has revealed a series of new character posters for the final season of The Umbrella Academy confirming the series will return in August 2024.
Whilst we wait for a new trailer, Netflix has gifted us with a series of new character posters teasing each of the casts transformation from academy member to full blown hero (or villain). Where will the final journey of the Hargreeves family take them? We we’ll have to wait and see!

Based on Dark Horse comic book originally created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy first premiered on Netflix in February 2019.
The final season of The Umbrella Academy stars the returning Elliot Page as Viktor Hargreeves, Tom Hooper as Luther Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Five Hargreeves, Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves, Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts, and Colm Feore as Sir Reginald Hargreeves.
They will be joined in the final season by Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross each in currently undisclosed roles.
The Umbrella Academy season 4 premieres on August 8, 2024.
