Plaion Pictures has dropped the official trailer for new comedy horror, Slotherhouse, the film will be coming to all major digital download platforms on February 12, 2024.
Featuring an impressive up and coming cast, British actress Lisa Ambalavanar (Titans, The A List) stars alongside EastEnders alumna Sydney Craven (Wolf Blood) and Andrew Horton (Jupiter’s Legacy).
The film follows Emily Young, a technology obsessed sorority senior trapped in the world of social currency and popularity, as she discovers the influence she can gain from cute animals after meeting an exotic pet distributor. Emily’s deep desire to become sorority house President leads to her adopting a poached pet sloth in order to use it to help her get elected new house President.

But when bodies slowly begin to pile up in the Lambda Omega Omega house, Emily and her sisters are slow to realize the deaths are being caused by their new house mascot, Alpha. It isn’t until the girls lock themselves in the house to celebrate the presidential election night that the truth is discovered about their sluggish pet—that this lackluster furball is actually nature’s perfect predator… fueled by revenge, protected by adorableness, and armed with three razor-like claws on each hand. Will Emily and her sisters escape the house with their lives? Or is this death-sloth too quick for them?
Following the US theatrical release the film recieved critical aclaim with The Guardian saying “In a year (2023) full of surprisingly aggressive animal movies… Slotherhouse deserves to stand on top of the pile.“
Slotherhouse will be available on Digital Download from February 12, 2024.
