This week we Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) aka She-Hulk came up against one of her most hilarious clients with Patty Guggenheim’s Madisynn. That’s two Ns, one Y, but it’s not where you thiiiiiink.
Madisynn arrives in the show after a disastrous run in with a Kamar-Taj trained sorcerer named Donny Blaze (Rhys Coiro) sent her to some kind of hell dimension. With returning guest star Wong (Benedict Wong) seeking to slap Blaze with a cease-and-discist, he turns to Jen to represent him in court.
Fans will know that the streamer likes to debut images from each episode in two batches and today we have the first batch for you to check out. There’s no major spoilers here, just first looks at Madisynn, Blaze and the returning Wong. There might also be a hint as to another sub-plot involving She-Hulk’s personal life…
In our ⭐⭐⭐⭐ review Neil says “The first four episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are a blast. Creatively this is Marvel Studios’ most television friendly series to-date. The self-referential, 4th wall breaking Jennifer is the perfect antidote to the tried-and-tested superhero formula and Tatiana Maslany is perfectly cast in the role.”
Directed by Kat Coiro (Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9) and Anu Valia (Episodes 5, 6, 7) with Jessica Gao as head writer, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. The nine-episode series welcomes a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong.
The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro and Jessica Gao. Co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.
