A couple of weeks back The CW dropped our first look at the upcoming third season of Stargirl with a brand new teaser. But now we not only have an extended version of the teaser, we also have confirmation that the series will return to screens in the US on August 31, 2022.
There’s still not a huge amount of spoiler-y footage in this new teaser. The focus is still on the new dynamic between Courtney (Brec Bassinger) and mentor Sylvester Pemberton (Joel McHale). It looks like Pemberton will attempt to settle in to a “normal” life in Blue Valley until he sees how many of the Justice Society’s former enemies are now living in the neighbourhood.

Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan aka Stripsey, Yvette Monreal As Yolanda Montez/Wildcat, Anjelika Washington As Beth Chapel/Dr. Mid-Nite and Cameron Gellman As Rick Tyler/Hourman. The series also stars Trae Romano as Mike Dugan and Amy Smart as Barbara Whitmore.
Stargirl will return to The CW for season 3 on August 31, 2022. We’ll keep you posted on UK airdates.
